Enrico Steger – Dental technician, inventor, entrepreneur

The Aurina Valley, in South Tyrol, is the creative oasis and place of retreat for the much-travelled master dental technician Enrico Steger. To Mr. Steger, South Tyrol is not only a home but the starting point of his career. After completion of the 5-year dental technical school in Bolzano (IT), in 1981 he founded the Steger Dental Laboratory, he wrote a technical book ("Die anatomische Kaufläche", Quintessenz Berlin, 1986), invented the manual milling machine for zirconia, the "Zirkograph" and continued developing hardware and software solutions for the dental technical sectors. In 2003, he then founded the worldwide company Zirkonzahn. Today he runs the company together with his son Julian and travels the whole world as a keynote speaker at congresses. He is known for breaking new ground, loves aesthetics and is a passionate supporter of sound education.
