This two-day workshop is designed to identify strengths and skill sets needed to be successful as an implant coordinator in today's specialty practice. Both the implant coordinator and hygienist can bring additional value to restorative doctors and their team through education on various implant procedures, components, and patient case acceptance techniques. Session 1 highlights the importance of clearly defined roles and responsibilities coaching to the individual strengths of each participant. Attendees will participate in breakout sessions on communication planning, organization of care plan workflows, implementation of metrics for success and hands-on parts and pieces.
Day one, participants will learn how to leverage their own strengths to achieve practice goals and personal fulfillment. Break out session will include surgical overview, hands-on training of common implant surgical and restorative procedures, new technologies and products. Each participant is invited to a behind the scenes tour of the North American manufacturing facility featuring the birth of a Straumann implant and commitment to unparalleled quality.
Day two, participants will focus on establishing key metrics and organizational systems designed to build value with referrals. Skill set development in the areas of referral management, top-grading and case presentation are a highlight for day two. Additional focus will be placed on improving the implant coordinator's overall sales and communication skills with referring doctors through group discussion and best practice sharing. The conclusion of day two will wrap up with a "fireside chat" of best practice sharing, feedback and customized action planning.
