Module 1, Day 1

Lecture:

Principles of implant diagnosis and treatment planning in edentulous patients/terminal dentition
Workflow of computer-based implant planning for edentulous jaws and terminal dentition.
Data acquisition protocol (intraoral scans, model scans, 3D imagingw/o imaging appliances)
Data fusion, virtual set-up, smile design
Virtual implant planning
Clinical sequence, indications and predictability of fully-guided guided surgery

Hands-On:

Computer-based 3D implant planning in edentulous jaw

Module 1, Day 2

Morning:

Live Surgery on 8/12th floor clinic and live-broadcast to Rachel's Amphitheater (implant placement)

Afternoon Hands-on workshop:

Full-guided implant placement in edentulous models

Module 2, Day 1

Lecture:

Principles of immediate implant loading in edentulous jaw/ terminal dentition
Clinical protocols for a predictable esthetic outcomeof immediate full-arch implant placement and loading
Pitfalls and bottlenecks in contemporary full-arch implant dentistry

Hands-on workshop:

Provisional pick up for full-arch digitally manufactured and conventional temporary prosthesis - How to, DOs and DONTs

Module 2, Day 2

Morning:

Live Surgery on 8/12th floor and live-broadcast to Rachel's Amphitheater (implant placement)

Afternoon Lectures:

Modern restorative materials for implant full-arch rehabilitation
Managing and avoiding complications relatedto digital implant planning and guided surgeryfor the edentulous arch
Case presentations –Tips and tricks for simplifying clinical protocols in daily implant practice

DESCRIPTION

This exciting 4-day course consists of 2 modules, which entail lectures, live demos and hands-on. Focus is given on fundamentals of 3D implant planning and placement utilizing latest technology (software and hardware). The intensive course will provide the clinicians with state-of-the-art protocols and workflows for implant placement and rehabilitation for edentulous jaws and terminal dentition. The course includes principles and guidelines for immediate implant placement and loading protocols using the digital workflow, exposing the participants to different clinical scenarios they may face in everyday practice. At the end of the course, the participants should be knowledgeable on how to carefully plan and execute predictable full-arch implant rehabilitations.
