Description
Patients are becoming savvier regarding their dental treatment. They demand cost-effective, efficient treatment solutions for edentulism (or impending edentulism). From a patient's perspective, reducing treatment time, healing time and simplifying the flow of treatment is an attractive alternative compared to more time consuming and lengthy options. As long as treatment outcomes are not compromised, the risk of complications are not greater, and expense is not significantly increased, immediate tooth replacement is often the preferred choice. The purpose of this course is to provide experienced dentists with practical and practice management tools to begin implementing immediate full arch surgery and provisionalization into their practices. Immediate provisionalization compresses phases of treatment into a short time frame.
Course materials are designed to provide the biologic foundation for this treatment modality, provide hands-on exercises and instruction to quickly and efficiently use materials and components to fabricate immediate provisionals and to observe a live surgery case for a fully edentulous arch.
