Dr. German O. Gallucci is the Head of the Division of Regenerative and Implant Sciences at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the department of Prosthodontics, School of Dental Medicine at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Gallucci actively participates in clinical research related to implant-prosthodontics and Digital Dentistry. His work has been published in International peer reviewed journals and he is a member of the editorial board for several scientific dental journals. Dr. Gallucci participates as an invited lecturer in international and national conferences and congresses. He is a fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), Switzerland, and an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) - USA, European Academy of Osseointegration (EAO), and International Academy of Dental Research (IADR).

Life has changed significantly in the recent weeks with many of us having to adjust the way we practice and work, and live with recommendations to stay home where possible. This session will explore the dental implications of the recent health situation caused by COVID-19. A review of the most current guidelines and PPE recommendations for how to protect ourselves, our staff, our patients and the community. We will also discuss the new reality online learning and tele dentistry, and what life practicing dentistry looks like once social distancing measures are loosened and patients return for non-emergency dental care in our clinics and practices.
